A Big Year for RTB — And We Need Your Help
Dear Restore the Balance Community,
It's Been a Big Year at Restore the Balance
It's been an incredibly busy 2026 at RTB. We've been working overtime to hold to our increasingly challenged mission: restoring civility in politics, promoting collaboration, and putting country before party. Among other things, this year we have:
Launched weekly newsletter updates for our email list
Held our annual Spring Gathering, featuring prominent conservative New York Times columnist David French
Expanded our monthly Socials to include educational topics (third Wednesday of each month)
Held Roundtable meetings featuring local public officials and healthcare experts
Published Candidate Ratings for primary races in CD-3, State House District 54, and Mesa County Clerk
Hosted a community forum with water officials on drought impacts and statewide water planning
Launched a Get Out the Vote program, including billboards and yard signs
Held a live forum for candidates running in the general election
There's more to come before the year is out: Candidate Ratings for local general election races, an educational forum on Ranked Choice Voting in collaboration with Courageous Colorado, and a public campaign ahead of the midterms to set the record straight on voter fraud and election integrity.
Our Annual Appeal
All of this takes resources. Once a year, outside of fundraising for individual speaker fees, we ask our broader membership to help fund the work ahead. Our 3,000 supporters have been generous in the past, and we're asking you to renew that commitment. Our goal this year is $15,000.
