At Restore the Balance, we were shocked and dismayed by the news of the political assassination of Charlie Kirk. We reject political violence of any kind, including threatening speech. As American citizens, we cannot and must not become numb to this violence. A democracy cannot function, let alone survive, when disagreements are met with violence. These attacks are a stark reminder of just how fragile our democracy can be and that people of all political persuasions must be respected for their views.
